Welcome to the Schappert - Nestor Endowment. The fund was established by Susan Schappert in December of 2021.
It's goal is to encourage and support women and disadvantaged populations in their pursuit of careers in environmental
protection and stewardship. In particular, the fund supports the Massachussets Audubon Society abcd fund.
The fund honors the memory of two very remarkable women: Alice Dew Schappert and Bridget Nestor.
Although we especially encourage women to apply for funding, the fund is open to anyone who needs financial
support in their quest for a career in environmental protection and stewardship.
